Frequently Asked Questions

Balsam Farm CSA

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. When you join a CSA, your membership fee
covers the farmer’s production costs of planting and harvesting. In exchange for your fee, you receive
a weekly share of the freshest available produce grown by local farmers.

How does a CSA work?

Each week you receive a share of produce that was grown on our farm.
The selection will vary from week to week depending on what we are harvesting.

How do I receive my CSA order each week?

Our pick up day is Saturday from our farm stand on Town Lane & Windmill Lane in Amagansett.
We also offer a delivery option for people in the following areas: Amagansett, East Hampton Village,
Springs, Wainscott and Sagaponack.
Montauk delivery is available for an extra charge.
