Balsam Farms now grows grain! We raise our own rye and oats for use as winter cover crop on our
farm. The grain is also sold to other local farms. We will soon be experimenting with barley and wheat production
as well.
For the 2009 season, we will be raising seven acres
of rye, and three acres of oats.
We are looking to expand into barley production for local breweries, or
wheat for local flour or brewing. If you are interested in our grains, please contact us.

Our combine is an International Harvestor 205. We believe it was manufacturered in 1966. It has a
10 foot grain head.
We purchased this combine out of Kutztown, PA in late fall 2007
