The Green Cubanelle, also known as “Cuban pepper” and “Italian frying pepper,” is a variety of sweet pepper.  Their flavor is  sweet and mild.  Compared to bell peppers, the Cubanelle is longer and has thinner flesh, making it excellent for roasting, sautéing, or stir fry.
